A pioneer in the aerospace industry, Learjet Inc. designed and built high-performance business jets. This luxury aircraft was launched under William Lear’s vision based on the Swiss P-16. The company has produced more than 3000 aircraft at its Wichita, Kansas plant since its first jet rolled off the assembly line in 1964. Bombardier produced the final Learjet, a Learjet 75, in 2022.
